Dear Users,
Sometimes we get emails from users that are having problem downloading reports so I thought I make a post on the subject which I admit could be more user friendly.
1. The first step is to click on the PDF or CSV button to pull report from server. (Note that the download buttons are red if report has not been pulled yet)

2. Now you have to refresh the browser by clicking on F5 or using the refresh button.
3. If the report was pulled successfully from the server the red markings will disappear and you can download the report to your computer.

4. If this does not work the first time repeat step 1 and 2 until it does.
Enjoy!

Ahoy me buckos,
One of our users created a great survey about Twitter and I just wanted to share it with you all
Check out the survey here
It’s created to help her in her dissertation and the subject is Twitter and expression. Seriously, check it out!
If you want her to tell you here surveying secrets, you can ask nicely at Twitter @Krazy4MJ
If you have a survey you think could benefit other SurveyPirate users – don’t hesitate to let me know! Of course, I’ll test it to make sure it’s really top quality!

Doing a survey and getting answers from friends or colleagues is easy – you already have their email addresses. But what if you want to get answers from people you don’t know? Up until now, asking the public, like professional market researchers, have been both hard and expensive. But no more.
SurveyPirate is proud to present a direct access to the world’s largest consumer panel exchange, where millions of people all over the world have agreed to answer surveys. Through our new service Consumer Access you can send out your surveys to high quality panels just like the professionals market researchers do, but at a much lower price than through the original channels.
Consumer Access is built on Cint’s Direct Sample solution, and is fully automated. You simply fill in the target groups – age, gender – in the country or region of your choice, and the number of answers you want to get. As there are no traditional middle hands you get a price instantly. Pay, and then just lean back and see the answers collecting.
You can read more about quality and method under Consumer Access at the SurveyPirate homepage.
The Consumer Access can be accessed from any created survey in your account and is live now.
Happy surveying!
/ Team SurveyPirate

Ahoy users,
We have optimized and tweaked our PDF writer so it is more environmental friendly and presentable.
It now compiles more questions into less pages with nice page brakes.
Enjoy and let’s take care of our planet.
Fair winds,

My dearies!
Finally we have gotten rid of the hampering shackles of the textbox question. No more 50 character limit – 4000 characters are now yours to spend as you wish.
If you are greedy and want more than one box in the textbox question you can have between 2 and 20, but with no more than 50 characters for each box.
Feedback? Dispatch your messenger pigeons to this adress: admin[at]surveypirate.com

So Google Wave has been out for a month or so now. Granted it’s still in Beta (or Preview) and pretty shaky at times, but the SurveyPirate team has great hopes for “the Wave” and would like to give one of our users an invite!
To enter the competition do this:
- Log in to your SurveyPirate account (or Create one here)
- Create a survey
(a fun one, one you’ve been trying to get around to for a while, one you will use in your school work, one to survey your customers – it’s UP TO YOU!)
- Paste the survey link as a comment on this post
(You’ll find the link in the “Collect Answers” tab if you click the name of your survey)
The judges (that’s me and most probably the Cap’n) will answer all surveys – and if you’re lucky so will a couple of readers from the blog too. Then we’ll decide which survey we LIKED BEST! (Totally arbitrary I know, but that also means if we really like 2 surveys, we’ll hand out 2 invites
)
You have until Friday the 20th to enter with your survey – then we’ll draw the winner.
That means at the 21st of November 2009, 00.00 CET, it is too late…
IF you already have you own Wave account – you are very welcome to give your invite away if you win! You choose the email address that we send the invite to!
DON’T FORGET to leave a Twitter name, Email etc so we can contact you if you win!
Also, you may complain but that won’t change our final decision on who wins the invite!
